You open your eyes and you find yourself on the floor not too far from your bed. You're in a terrible mood from the dream you just had prior. The dream that was long forgotten until now. The Memories of the past flooded your mind. The memories of you and your formerly called " Best Friend ". He had been the one to make you smile. But, he had also been the one to take that smile with him when he left you suddenly in this Living Hell.

You had gotten off the floor and walked to your alarm clock. It read 5:30am. School didn't start until 8:45am, so you decided to take a shower to "wash" the dream off your mind.

"Allen," you begin to ask to yourself, "where are you?"

After getting out of the shower and into your school uniform, you walk downstairs to see a letter addressed to you on the kitchen table.

Dear (y/n),

I apologize, my dear, but I can no longer live with you anymore. Because of having a 16-year-old living with me, my boyfriend left me. I don't think I'll come back anytime soon, but I'll send money and pay for the house. I still love you, but you must understand my love life is important. Goodbye, (y/n). I love you.

Love Mommy


You close your eyes tightly as you slam your fist down on the table. "Why?" You asked yourself. "Why does everyone just leave?!"

After calming yourself down, you crumbled the letter from your mother and threw it away. You didn't love her. If she left, then she didn't really care. You were thankful for the money, though.

You soon walked over to the fridge. 'Thank God,' you thought to yourself as the fridge was stocked. You smiled a bit while pulling out the box of waffles and making some. When you had finished, you washed the dishes and grabbed your school bag and leaving for school.

You didn't hate school, you just hated the groups it was split into. The royals, and the rebels.

The Royals are the ones with the money, the power, the looks, the hair, etc.( You know what we mean ) and the teachers fell in love with these kids as they got bribed all the time with money. They were all the good students, while The Rebels were bad.

The Rebels ruled their side of the school with force, threatening the teachers for good grades. You were the only one that hadn't joined a certain group, thus leading to bullying. You didn't join one because of a promise. A promise that you realized would never be complete. A promise made with him.

After a while of walking, you bump into the Queen of all the Royals. After saying your apologies, you quickly try to dash out of her (and her "minions") way.

"Oh, look. Isn't it little (y/n). What's a peasant like you doing out in the castle?" Her voice was cocky and arrogant. A smirk crawled onto her face as your face became slightly angry.

You held back the urge to punch her. 'Fighting only makes it worse,' you'd learn it the hard way. You'd stayed by that since then, and that didn't change now.

"Peasant, get out of my way!" She yelled as she pushed you away, causing you to hit the wall and fall.
